The Deputy Superintendent reports directly to the Superintendent and assumes command in his absence.  The Deputy Superintendent oversees jail personnel below the rank of Deputy Superintendent in the daily operations of the jail.

The Director of Operations oversees of the following departments within Middle River Regional Jail: Shift Personnel, Community Corrections, Records, Intake, Classification, Transportation, Inmate Accounts and Property, Mail Room, Medical, Mental Health, Training, Programs, Education and Jail Accreditation. The Director of Operations reports directly to the Deputy Superintendent.

​The Director of Finance oversees Budget, Human Resources, Payroll, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Inmate Accounts, and Insurance.  The Director of Finance reports directly to the Deputy Superintendent.​​

The Director of Medical Services is responsible for administrative duties, including supervising other nursing staff, as well as providing nursing care.  The Director of Medical Services reports directly to the Deputy Superintendent.

The Chief of Operations supervises all Service Division personnel in the day to day operations of Community Corrections, Records, Intake, Classification, Transportation, Inmate Accounts and Property.  The Chief of Operations reports directly to the Director of Operations.
