Congratulations Officer Lafon, Officer Moore and Officer Gwin. In addition, Officer Gwin received the Top Shot Award and Officer Moore received the Director's Award.

Middle River Regional Jail was proud to participate in Kids Matter Day, May 15, 2023. Kids Matter Day has provided as many as 500 kids and families in a single day with local resources. Children and parents from Staunton, Waynesboro, and Augusta County were invited to visit safety and resource stations provided by local community organizations to receive dental imprints, first aid information and much more.

The Out of the Darkness Community Walk is a journey of remembrance, hope, and support. It unites our communities and provides an opportunity to acknowledge the ways in which suicide and mental health conditions have affected our lives and the lives of those we love and care about.
